Abstract:Emerging countries, like China and India, face a critical crossroad. These countries can follow developed, auto-dependent nations down an unsustainable path or transform transportation to encourage environmentally and economically sound choices. Innovative industries and conscious consumers—guided by prudent government policies—hold the key to future global mobility.
