This chapter describes the conceptual framework of an Integrated Parking Management System based on Information Technologies Systems (ITS) designed to improve the use of available parking and help induce a shift to other modes. Two case studies are analyzed: the University campuses of an institution in the United States and one in Colombia. However, the system could be modified to be implemented at other large traffic generators.
