COCHIN-TIMES model integrates behavioral aspects from a consumer choice model into TIMES energy systems modeling framework. This presentation briefly gives an overview of the integrated framework, on how the behavioral effects are endogenized under systemwide carbon cap. It introduces COCHIN-TIMES-2.0 where a layer of distribution infrastructure is introduced. This improved model framework builds the appropriate infrastructure (stations and chargers) to meet the demand of vehicles on road, and adjusts consumer perception accordingly.
